Data on your device

Your training preferences, workouts, performance records, food journal, character choices and optional profile photo are saved locally. You can export a backup and clear local data in the app. There are no advertising SDKs or third-party marketing trackers.

Optional accounts and cloud backup

If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your account identifier, email, name and any profile information provided by that service. Authentication tokens are stored securely on the device. When you choose cloud sync, your journal is sent over HTTPS to our Cloudflare Workers and D1 backend. Cloud copies can include your workout history, body measurements you entered, food entries, profile photo and exercise sessions imported from Health Connect. Cloud sync is optional; it is not automatic. Cloudflare processes this information to host the account and backup service, potentially outside your country.

Health Connect

Only with your permission, the app reads exercise sessions to add them to your training record and writes completed workouts to Health Connect. It does not read heart rate, medical records or location. We do not sell health data or use it for advertising, lending or eligibility decisions. You can disconnect in the app and manage or delete shared records in Android Health Connect. Disconnecting in Training Arc clears imported summaries on this device. Records already written to Health Connect and older exported or cloud backups must be managed separately.

Payments

Google Play processes Android purchases. We do not receive card details. We store purchase tokens, product identifiers, subscription state and expiry to verify access, restore purchases and process renewals or refunds. A pseudonymous account identifier links the purchase to your Training Arc account.

Retention and deletion

Cloud account, journal and purchase-verification records remain until you delete the account. Account deletion removes these records from the live application database. Provider recovery backups may remain temporarily under their retention settings. Operational logs may contain timestamps and technical error information; application code does not log journal contents or purchase tokens. Google retains its own transaction records. Deleting an account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Exported backup files, other devices and Health Connect records need to be deleted separately.

You can delete the account in Settings → Account & backup, or on our account deletion page. For access, corrections or a deletion request you cannot complete yourself, contact dreamforgelabs@proton.me.

Audience

Training Arc is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Contact us if a child has supplied personal data.
